I've personally spent many a day 'half-dressed' whilst piddling about my flat getting the weekend duties done. This behaviour explains my habit of not wearing knickers when I do eventually venture out... I'm just too fuckin' lazy, I simply slip into something FABULOUS then wander out the door to my errands, eventually realising that I haven't bothered with putting on a pair knickers.
